i’ve never really articulated why i don’t make new years resolutions (as such)…
and after reading powlison’s article (on the same), it would be a waste of time for me to attempt any better.

shout out to my city and the local businesses that keep it running. had lunch today with one of my church brothers & several other brother-pastors from pottstown & lebanon. they came to pray for us, for the city, for the triumph of the gospel. the president arrives later today…[my mind is drawn to 1 Tim 2:1-2: "first of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way"].
