lunch, gospel & the president…in allentown

shout out to my city and the local businesses that keep it running. had lunch today with one of my church brothers & several other brother-pastors from pottstown & lebanon. they came to pray for us, for the city, for the triumph of the gospel. the president arrives later today…[my mind is drawn to 1 Tim 2:1-2: "first of all, then, I urge thatĀ supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way"].

  1. good reminder Scott. I can’t remember the last time I prayed for President Obama but I will pray for him tonight. Prayer is hard work and must be intentional, and something I will always be working on.

  2. i hear you on that…
